Apply knowledge and practices of the full range of
personnel/human resource functions, such as classification,
workforce planning & analysis, employee and labor
relations, retirement, benefits, disciplinary actions,
recruitment, selection, training, employee development,
promotion regulations and procedures, compensation, and
personnel information systems. Provide guidance and
leadership in the motivation, performance measurement and
overall management of the workforce including the design,
delivery, implementation and evaluation of programs and
processes. Includes understanding of organizational
mission, strategy and business objectives as well as
various rules, regulations and culture on people and their
work.
