Maintenance

The NASA Taxonomy is maintained by a Committee made up of representatives from the Centers and significant knowledge domains. Their responsibility is to:

• Maintain the NASA taxonomy and its associated materials
• Manage the Taxonomy Change Process
• Identify new opportunities for use of the Taxonomy across NASA to improve information management practices
• Promote awareness and use of the Taxonomy
