What is a facet hierarchy?
The facet hierarchy is the display of all terms in the facet in their hierarchical order. The hierarchy level of a term is indicated by the number of dots that precede it. For example here are 3 levels from the Mission and projects facet:
- Human Exploration and Development of Space
- Station Programs
- International Space Station
Clicking on a term in the facet hierarchy returns the term record.
What is a term record?
A term record shows the complete information for a taxonomy term. The illustration shows all the components of a term record.
